Financial Reports from Management Reporter do not match the Trial Balance Reports in Microsoft Dynamics GP

In case you encounter issue where the amount in financial reports which generate using Management Reporter is not tally to the GL value in Microsoft Dynamics GP, try perform the following self-check evaluation to determine the problem:-

1. Make sure the "Provisional" setting is always point to "Posted Only"

2. Is the report printing the same period as in GP?
3. Is there a huge chunk of data just posted in GP? Please allow ample time to let GP sync the data to Management Reporter if you are using Datamart.
4. Is the new account code created in GP included in Row format?
5. The posted transaction in GP with Analytical Accounting (AA) does not match to the AA data in Management Reporter, this might due to posting disruption in GP which causing data issue. Need to contact your GP vendor.
